Eleanore & The Lost Invite You To Play Their 'Parlour Game'
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great PR) Surrey based 5 piece Eleanore & the Lost are a symphonic rock band with a wide range of influences, from Jeff Buckley and early Fleetwood Mac to Kate Bush and Bjork, via Evanescence.

It's a background that allows their sound to sit comfortably in both a heavy upbeat rock mould and a melancholic, mellower environment, taking in everything that lies between to create an album that's rich and varied in its approach. Instrumentally, the tracks range from sparsely populated ballads to fully orchestrated songs with full string sections and, on one occasion, even brings in influences from India.

Marrying autobiographical lyrics to this wide ranging sound, 'Parlour Game' pays tribute to the journey of songwriter Eleanore from an unknown to a writer who commands great respect wherever she works. Her skill with words, as well as her impressive four octave range, makes her a talent to watch.

Over the years, Eleanore has seen her profile gradually rise as her reputation has spread. In 2009, she beat 10,000 entrants to reach the National Grand Final of the Live & Unsigned competition, and two years later she was specially commissioned to compose the theme song for the World Wide Fund for Nature's (WWF) 50th anniversary. The resulting piece, 'My True Nature', was also used as a stimulus piece for the charity's nationwide competition aimed at 8-17 year olds.

Now, backed by her band the Lost, Eleanore is looking to enhance that reputation further.
The album 'Parlour Game' is available via eleanoreandthelost.com and all other major download and streaming sites.
