LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ ICMP) Award season is officially upon us and nominations have been revealed for some of the most prestigious ceremonies in the UK. Etta Bond, an alumna of the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in North London, has been nominated for Best Newcomer at this year's MOBO Awards. The MOBO's 2013 will take place in Glasgow on the 19th October.
After her studies in 2009 Etta went on to sign with Labrinth's label Odd Child Recordings and perform with artists including Devlin (Love Cards), Wretch 32 (Forgiveness), Plan B (Playing with Fire) and Professor Green. Since releasing two successful EPs with fellow Oddchild signing 'Raf Riley' Etta has gone on to play huge live music events including Wireless, Glastonbury, Global Gathering, The Great Eascape, Reading and Leeds festival and has supported Labrinth on his 2012 UK arena tour as well as featuring on his track 'Under The Knife' and opened for Azealia Banks under the project name 'ExR'.
