Rowdi Releases New EP 'My Last Rock Star Dream'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MondoTunes) The rapper known as Rowdi has released his latest EP record, titled "My Last Rock Star Dream." The album is comprised of six original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 20 minutes. The album has been independently released and has been turning heads all throughout the underground hip-hop scene since its original publication in 2011. With a unique, creative sound and an aggression that only Rowdi can bring to the stage, "My Last Rock Star Dream" is proof that there are extremities of the urban music scene that only free-thinking iconoclasts such as Rowdi can imagine.

With solid back beats and well-written street poetry, "My Last Rock Star Dream" features the following popular Rowdi singles: the opening track, "She Love Cash Like a Trance," the science-fiction electronica song, "Kobe Rowdi Lebron," the punk-rock toned, "Rock Star Break Up," the dirty-south sounding "Gooney Chick Tatted," the spooky, horror-show single, "What You Like," and the chaotic dance-floor anthem, "Louis Vuitton Cashbands."

Upon being asked to cite some personal artistic influences, Rowdi mentions only the post-emo band, Paramore. This surprising proclivity manifests in the wide array of musical styles with which Rowdi populates his musical compositions.

Rowdi was born in 1992 and grew up in the famous hotbed of rap music, Compton, CA. Eventually he found reason to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia, where he joined a popular, local hip-hop crew by the name of the Georgia Gooney Gang. The Gooney Gang produced a hit single titled "I Do Numbers," which stands today as the band's main claim to fame, but Rowdi went solo at the age of 15 and has been writing, performing, and producing music under his own name ever since. "My Last Rock Star Dream" represents the most significant official solo release from Rowdi to date.

"My Last Rock Star Dream" by Rowdi is available online worldwide.

The EP "my Last Rock Star Dream" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes for convenient purchase and download
