Leandra Almazan Releases New LP 'Revelation'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The singer-songwriter of contemporary gospel music known as Leandra Almazan has released her latest LP record album, titled, "Revelation." The album is comprised of 12 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of 50 minutes, making for a comprehensive and round treatment of Almazan's musical repertoire. The record has been released on the Lea Almazan Music record label. A heartfelt, soaring testament of praise from Almazan to her celestial Lord on high, "Revelation" is musically gorgeous, powerful, remarkably various and brilliantly colorful, one of the year's best contemporary gospel releases.

The title of Almazan's album stems from the highlighted verse from the Christian Bible that rests in cupped hands on her album cover. The verse reads, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away" Revelations 21:4 (NIV).

These lines echo Almazan's personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God the Father. Her official artist's bio closes with the following paragraph:

"He is the reason for her joy, peace, love and favor and hopes one day everyone will come to know Christ. Lea's compassion for people has lead her to sing to the Lord in hope that one song will break the barriers, shackles, and that the Lord will bless the Listener. When Praises go up to the Almighty through the worshiper, the blessings come down."

She is also noted as saying, "It's not what you listen to, but what the music does to you."

Almazan's music is aesthetically magnificent, and it does marvelous things to a music fan. Herself a singer from Southern California's Orange County, which houses a musical hotbed subculture that has produced libraries of popular music groups, her music retains sonic elements of Seal, Andrae Crouch and particularly Etta James, yet these are not her true inspirations.

When asked to cite some artistic influences, Almazan writes: "God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, my family, Mom, and church."

Regarding the theme of her record, she comments simply that the message is to "Not give up, and that God wants everyone. We need to keep guarded in all we do with a surrendering heart."

"Revelation" by Leandra Almazan is available online worldwide beginning 18 October 2013.

The LP "Revelation" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes or www.top40-charts.com for convenient purchase and download.
