A graduate of USC's Thornton School of Music and daughter of a professional touring musician and songwriter, Lara has spent the past year writing and

co-writing songs as well as recording in studio sessions with partners in LA, London, and Nashville. Her busy touring schedule has seen Lara performing at theatres, amphitheaters, fairs, festivals and clubs stretching from her Bay area home to all four corners of the U.S. and points in between.

Lara has appeared in Las Vegas at Caesar's Palace, the California State Fair main stage, on national television's Wendy Williams Show and Piers Morgan Tonight, and shared the bill with legendary performers including Journey and Heart, country superstars Luke Bryan and Willie Nelson, Huey Lewis and the News, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Miller, Don Henley and Timothy B. Lara gives back as well, donating her time and considerable talents to fundraisers for many worthy charities including Wounded Warriors, The Guardsmen, Redwood Empire Food Bank, and the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation.
