New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Plexi PR) SMOG hits the road this winter for the SMOG City Series featuring 12th Planet, Flinch, SPL and Two Fresh. The influential LA party crew brings their tastemaking and genre-bending bass music across the U.S. for the first time, hitting New York City, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, and Dallas between November 29 and December 20.
The SMOG City Series brings some of the top talent from LA's flourishing electronic music scene. 12th Planet is the electronic music pioneer whose off-axis beats and subsonic frequencies orbit on the forefront of global bass culture. No stranger to the EDM world,
Flinch is the veteran producer who consistently delivers a wide selection of cuts riding between the UK funky, club, moombahton, techno, garage, and dubstep genre lines. Virtuoso producer SPL is the creator of his forward-thinking "Balearic Bass" sound, combining 90's era rave elements with his own brand of heavy bass music. Denver-based Two Fresh, comprised of twin brothers Sherwyn and Kendrick Nicholls, are the unique electronic production team whose releases span the musical spectrum early 90's hip-hop to more spacey and upbeat sounds, and have earned them a broad fan base.
SMOG is one of the founding brands in the North American dubstep and bass music movement. Originally an event production company based in Los Angeles, SMOG has expanded into a record label, artist development hub, and lifestyle brand.
