Messenger Neef is a rapper from Chicago, IL and a member of Hoodstars Theatres. Described as a thoughtful gangster, Neef credits his mom, Carolyn Caldwell, for inspiring and encouraging his songwriting, composing and arrangements. Neef prides himself on writing all of his own music.

Neef, knowing his product was undeniable and tired of fighting for financial security, literally took to the streets selling over 150,000 units hand to hand in the middle of busy traffic. Inspired and motivated, the streets validated his high level of talent and made him realize that with determination and hard work, anything is possible.
