Ceremony to include the presentation of the 2013 Latin Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award, which is determined by a vote of The Latin Recording Academy's Trustees to performers who, during their lifetimes, have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording. The Latin Recording Academy's Trustees Award is presented by vote to individuals who, during their careers in music, have made significant contributions, other than performance, to the field of recording.

The Lifetime Achievement and Trustees Awards honors a diverse group of inspired and magnificent creators who have contributed some of the most distinctive and seminal recordings in Spanish, English and Portuguese of the past century. The ceremony will precede the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®, which will be held at Mandalay Bay Events Center on Thursday, Nov. 21, and will be broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT.
