New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Johnny Flynn, one of the UK's premiere songwriting talents, will embark on a North American solo tour in January behind his lauded new album, 'Country Mile,' out now via Transgressive with US marketing provided by Thirty Tigers.
Kicking off 16th January in the northeast, the tour follows a string of US dates with
Mumford & Sons as special guest main support last month and a sold out one-off show at NYC's
Music Hall of Williamsburg.
'Country Mile' blooms with touches of Neutral Milk Hotel and The Incredible String Band. For this record, Flynn drew from disparate sources like TS Eliot to Hank Williams, Einstein and Peruvian psych music. Video for "Country Mile" here: https://bit.ly/GzFkcg
"An extremely clever and nuanced record" - Mojo
"Flynn has talent to burn" - Q

A modern renaissance man, Johnny's music has earned praise from Rolling Stone's
David Fricke to NPR to USA Today. As an actor, he has appeared in Shakespeare plays at The
Globe and he appears opposite
Anne Hathaway in the upcoming 2014 film, 'Song One.' Tickets for all tour dates will go on sale this Friday 11/8 at 12pm EST, and all tickets will be available directly from venues.
