A-Grade is a Hip Hop duo from Kitchener, ON just 45 minutes outside of Toronto. A-Grade consists of Shamar "Prynze" Palmer, 18, and Long "SunniLong" Nguyen, 18, who became friends in the 4th grade soon realizing they both shared a passion for music. By 5th grad they had already recorded their first song "Coloured Diamonds" and performed on stage. Back then named YND (Young and Dominant), Prynze and SunniLong later changed their name to A-Grade to match their ever evolving sound. After many years of fine tuning their craft and learning everything there is to know about music production, both artists possess the skills to edit, mix, and master their work making these artists an unstoppable force in the music industry.
A-Grade are not only known for their skills in the studio but have been wowing audiences on stage since 2010. A-Grade opened up for "Classified" in Mount Forest at the Old Roxy Theatre as well as performed at Toronto's annual Youth Day Celebration. Beyond the stage they have been tearing up the Canadian airwaves being featured on the Tri-Cities #1 radio station 91.5 The Beat. The Hip Hop duo won the 9 O'clock Showdown with their hit single "Fly Like Me" for 4 nights with the maximum a song can win being 5 times. This helped "Fly Like Me" receive 7 weeks on rotation. Producing quality music and videos exceeding the current standard in the industry, A-Grade is making waves and attracting the attention of many industry professionals.
