ole Signs Worldwide Deal With American Singer/Songwriter/Producer, Billy Falcon
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (Top40 Charts) ole has concluded a worldwide admin deal with American singer/songwriter/producer, Billy Falcon. The agreement includes multiple cuts on the 2013 Bon Jovi album, What About Now , including the lead-off single, "Because We Can."

Falcon, a recording artist in his own right, has released a dozen albums since the late '70s. In 1991, Jon Bon Jovi, who had know Falcon as a top-draw artist on the New Jersey club circuit and was a fan, approached him about working together. The relationship resulted in a couple of albums for Falcon in the early '90s but more importantly was the catalyst for a long-running songwriting collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi. Beginning at the turn of the millennium with Bon Jovi's best-selling, Grammy-nominated album, Crush , Falcon's 19 co-writes, including the singles "Say It Ain't So," "Bounce," "When We Were Beautiful," "Superman Tonight" and "Because We Can," can be heard on the band's subsequent releases.

Jon Bon Jovi once referred to Falcon as one of his favorite songwriters. "I dare you NOT to be moved by his lyrics," he stated. "We have collaborated many times, not only for my records, but we have written songs for other artists who have found that special something in the song."

Among the artists to have recorded songs by Falcon are Stevie Nicks, Cher, Manfred Mann, Sherrie Austin, Meatloaf, Trace Adkins and Faith Hill, whose recording of the song "Give In To Me," co-written by Falcon's daughter Rose and Elisha Hoffman, was heard on the soundtrack of the film, Country Strong .

Falcon, a native of Valley Stream, New York, moved to Nashville in the early '90s and has been very active on the music scene there since, songwriting, producing records for other artists, including his own daughter Rose, and performing with the band The Sowing Circle.

Billy Falcon, who Jon Bon Jovi has called one of his favorite songwriters, has signed with ole. Pictured at ole 's Nashville offices are (l-r) Gilles Godard, VP, Corporate Affairs and Development; CEO Robert Ott; Billy Falcon and John Ozier, GM, Nashville Creative.
