LOS ANGELES, CA (Top40 Charts) Timbaland and ole have earned a nomination at the GRAMMY Awards in the Best Rap Song category for "Holy Grail," Jay Z's international hit featuring Justin Timberlake, co-written and co-produced by ole writer Timbaland. The track also got a nod in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category.
Timbaland is also co-writer/co-producer on the
Justin Timberlake song "Pusher Love Girl," nominated as Best R&B Song.
Timbaland is a two-time GRAMMY winner while ole , nominated last year in the Best Country Song category with ole writer Ryan Tyndell for the
Eric Church hit "Springsteen," earned its first GRAMMY in 2009 in the Country Song of the Year category for Taylor Swift's "White Horse," co-written by ole legacy writer, Liz Rose.
In all, ole is associated this year with 11 nominations as part of internationally acclaimed projects by
Justin Timberlake and Jay Z as well as the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album nom for Michael Bublé's chart-topping album worldwide, To Be Loved , which includes the hit single "After All," a co-write by ole 's Jim Vallance.
Timbaland co-wrote/co-produced the lion's share of Jay Z's history-making album, Magna Carta Holy Grail (MCHG), which was nominated in the Best Rap Album and Best Recording Package categories and includes the Grammy-nominated songs, "Holy Grail," the international #1 hit; "Tom Ford," nominated as Best Rap Performance, and "Part II (On the Run)" featuring Beyoncé, which is up for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. Music Video. MCHG debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart having been certified platinum for a million sales at the time of its release.
Timbaland also co-wrote and co-produced the bulk of Justin Timberlake's The 20/20
Experience - The Complete
Experience , which was nominated as Best Pop Vocal Album, and includes the chart-topping songs "
Suit & Tie" featuring Jay Z, nominated as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best
Music Video, and "Mirrors," nominated as Best Pop Solo Performance. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and remains the best-selling album release of 2013 in the U.S. with sales of more than two million units.
Timbaland also shared some of the glory at the recent American
Music Awards as The 20/20
Experience was named Favorite - Soul/R&B album. The follow-up, The 20/20
Experience 2 of 2 , also went to #1 in the U.S. and Canada.

Timbaland has just rolled out the track "Know About Me," from his upcoming album titled Textbook Timbo (previously Shock Value III ). The track features Drake,
James Fauntleroy and Jay Z, who
Timbaland has rejoined for the North American leg of his Magna Carta World Tour which kicked off at St. Paul's Xcel
Energy Center on November 30.
