(We Are) Nexus is working hard to make sure everything is just right for the unveiling of their second all original single, "World Around Me" due out January of 2014. When Nexus first met Jason Kohlmann they were impressed by his passion and attention to detail as a talented producer and DJ and knew that he was a perfect candidate to remix the single for the "World Around Me" album.
Jason Kohlmann's dedication to his craft can be attributed to his complete immersion into the world of DJing and producing. He is consistently building a solid reputation and making a name for himself by performing at venues in New York City and New Jersey including Bahama Mama's, Encore, Ultra Bar and 46 Lounge. Kohlmann has also held residency at the 200 Lounge for two years in Hoboken, New Jersey.
His passion and skill for DJing is proven through his love for performance and his impressive portfolio of clients he has created music for, which include Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka, Victoria's Secret and Nike. When Kohlmann is not blowing up the dance floors of reputable venues or working with big named clients such as Nike, he is in his studio working on remixes, mash-ups and all original content.
Kohlmann's remix of "World World Me" immediately engages the listener with a hypnotic backbeat that can be best explained as killer attitude and swag. Carmen's beautifully enchanting voice is introduced echoing seamlessly and interweaving against multiple layers of enticing instrumentation.
