New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Az1 Promotionz) Hip hop, emcee, rhyme spitta, visionary, just a few words to describe the paper trail that the Patterson, NJ rapper Annex has left behind over the years. After his last album Plan 4 Success, one can only ask "What else can this guy bring, do, or accomplish as an emcee?" Please don't sleep as Annex now brings you The Snooze Button.
Annex is another breed, barz are unrecycled, flow is abnormal, and the beats are a gift to who he is as an artist the same way the pen has admiration for the paper. On tracks such as Case Closed and Un-Fuckwitable we get the chance see that monster that gave Annex his name. On the heartfelt record The Session, it's like he opens up pages in his personal diary. He touches upon staying away from fake friends, drug addictions, and patching up holes in his life. This song is real, and will definitely hit home for many. Even on This World he explains how devious it has become, in a place where he has to raise his daughter. Following up with Don't Remind Me featuring B.Worthy, one of the best put together tracks on the album. Everything fits from the drum patters, verses, the flow of both emcees, and the samples. Great way to end a great album on Pick It Up and 2013 leading us into what is possibly to be expected from emcees in the new year.
