Bring It Back" is a call for music fans, rappers and DJs alike to return to the way of the original urban poets, who in the eyes of many respected music critics did some of their best work in the 1990s, often referred to as the "new-school" era of hip hop. His beats are strong, his lines are sharp, and his studio production is slim, trim and clean.
"The first thing I ever wrote creatively was a rap," writes J.Ransom, who published two books before his 22nd birthday. "I have been listening to music since birth. My uncle was a local DJ who introduced me to music. I creatively have done all types of writing, but it was not until a year ago I started taking being an artist seriously. But I have worked as a part of an independent record company and as a producer."
What strikes the listener first upon pressing 'play' is the full, shadowy sound of "Bring It On."
