Toronto's Crimson Shadows Announce US Tour Dates With Battlecross
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Fayz Media Group) Epic Canadian death power metallers and 2013 International Battle for Wacken winners CRIMSON SHADOWS have announced their first ever U.S. tour dates, supporting Battlecross (Metal Blade Records) later this month with stops in Pittsburgh (1/22), Cleveland (1/23), Toronto (1/24) and Detroit (1/25). The list of dates are available below.

"We are really excited to be making our way south of the border, its something we have wanted to do for a while now and to be sharing the stage with our friends in Battlecross makes it that much better! We have also decided to unleash a couple brand new tracks we have wrote for our next album on this mini tour so everyone will get a taste of whats to come," says drummer Cory Hofing.

Winners of the 2013 International Battle for Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany, Crimson Shadows beat out some of the best in Canadian underground metal bands such as Vesperia, Hollow, Dissension, Adrenechrome and more. 39 independent Canadian bands competed over nine qualifying rounds, three semi-finals, and a national final that was judged by Glen Drover (Megadeth / Testament), Martin Popoff (BW&BK / HardRadio), Sarah Lutz (Metal Blade Records), Noel Peters (Inertia Entertainment), Adam Sewell (Stereo Dynamite Records /Monster Voodoo Machine) and Rob Urbinati (Sacrifice). The band went on and competed in the finals at Wacken against winning bands from over 30 countries and won the battle, along with various endorsements and other prizes.

Crimson Shadows' first full length

'Glory on the Battlefield' was released in 2012, followed up by an EP "Sails of Destiny" in 2013, and are quickly gaining fans and followers all over the world with their Canadian twist on Epic Power European metal with alternating death and clean vocals. The first single from the EP, 'Maiden's Call' can be heard here.

The band teamed up with Metal Blade's up and coming thrash/melo-death act BATTLECROSS and the decision was made to take Crimson Shadows on the road for their first ever U.S. dates.

"We met the dudes in Crimson Shadows last year when their drummer offered to fill in for ours when he was unable to play a show in Canada. We kept in touch and were introduced to Crimson Shadows, and they blew us away with not only their talent and energetic live show, but an amazing work ethic and humility that we look for in a band. We think that American fans are going to love them and we're proud and honored to introduce them to America," says Hiran Deraniyagala of Battlecross.

Pre-sale Ticket buyers of any of the four shows will be entered to win an ESP LTD Horizon Guitar courtesy of ESP. The Toronto show will be held at El Mocambo and tickets can be purchased here.

Tour dates:
w/ Battlecross
1/22 Pittsburgh, PA @ The Smiling Moose
1/23 Cleveland, OH @ Agora Ballroom
1/24 Toronto, ON @ El Mocambo
1/25 Westland, MI @ Token Lounge

"Crimson Shadows fuse pure metal and death metal in an entirely new way, with flavor, passion and a steel fire burning in their bellies. I love the way they combine the high flying guitarmonies of pure metal with the grit of pure death metal." -Two Guys Metal Review

"After the impressive debut "Glory On The Battlefield" Canada's CRIMSON SHADOWS return with an powerful (EP) sure to satisfy fans of Melodic high speed Death Metal. This iron borne Toronto outfit continues their death quest for the glory of the throne. For once it is experienced; fans will surely spout the words of praise, power, and glory, while swilling the ale of their ancestors."-Metal Temple
