Incubus-Frontman Brandon Boyd Frontman Debuts "Beatlesque, R&B Side," NYC 1.30
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) On Thursday, January 30th, Incubus-frontman Brandon Boyd will play Irving Plaza with his new musical project Sons of the Sea.

For the first time in NYC, Boyd will bring to life the "bright California surf-pop" (Rolling Stone) of the group's self-titled debut which "evokes the sounds of the Beach Boys and Harry Nilsson" (USA Today) and puts Boyd "in a creative league of his own" (Nylon) .

Written and recorded with famed rock producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, The Killers), 'Sons of the Sea' is "uptempo, funk-inspired rock" (Fuse) that allows Boyd to "play off his more Beatlesque and R&B side" (Vice) .

WHO: Sons of the Sea
WHEN: Thursday, January 30th / 7PM
WHERE: Irving Plaza / 17 Irving Pl, New York, NY 10003 (bet. E15th St & E16th Street)
