Amity Affliction and
Heartist have announced plans to join
Blessthefall on the band's upcoming US headline tour. The Hollow Bodies Tour will also feature Silverstein and Secrets and is set to kick off April 8 in El Paso, TX at
Tricky Falls, then continue through mid-May where it will eventually wrap-up at Mesa, AZ's Nile Theater on May 15. Tickets for all dates go on sale January 31.
The upcoming trek marks the return of The
Amity Affliction to the US, having spent all of last summer Stateside on the Vans Warped Tour. Currently, the band is preparing to head into the studio to record their follow-up to 2012's Chasing Ghosts, which debuted at #1 on the Australian ARIA Chart and was certified gold in Australia. Alternative Press recently selected the band's forthcoming record as one of their "Most Anticipated of 2014."
Says frontman Joel Birch , "Not only are we super excited to get back to North
America after what feels like far too long an absence, but to head back there with new songs to share in the lead up to album number four is also a great feeling. The US already holds a piece of our hearts, we can't wait to get back there."
Joining The
Amity Affliction on the upcoming spring tour will be label mates and explosive rockers
Heartist . The Southern California-based band spent the majority of 2013 grinding it out on the road in support of their stunning debut EP, Nothing You Didn't Deserve . Currently, the band is putting the finishing touches on their debut full-length album, which was produced by
David Bendeth , who's worked with
Paramore ,
Of Mice & Men , and
Bring Me The Horizon , among others.
