New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Sudden Death Records) Just before their Farewell Tour in North
America and Australia, Canada's punk legends and masters of mayhem D.O.A. have released a new video on YouTube entitled "Who The Hell Do You Think You Are." Taking a satirical and humorous look at the state of world politics and mainstream media, Canada's favourite muckrakers trash and thrash the world's politicians and celebrities.
New D.O.A. video: Who The Hell Do You Think You Are?
The Men of Action start the tour in Texas, playing five shows in the Lone Star state for the first time in 15 years. They will continue in Vancouver, having six stops in Oregon and Washington, and four shows in Australia. D.O.A. will also hold five shows in China and will announce the dates in early May.
During their stop in Vancouver, Sudden Death will host a Welcome to Chinatown live album release party on February 7, 2014 at The Rickshaw Theatre. Recorded from three nights at the Rickshaw, the live album brings a thrilling and cultural music experience.
"Welcome to Chinatown, is a return to D.O.A.'s roots. 'Cause that's the area, where all the excitement of punk rock started for us. We used to practice and live in Chinatown and our very first shows, at local community halls, warehouses and dive clubs were right in the area. So this double album feels like full circle/coming home for us. Plus most of our classic songs are on the album," says D.O.A lead guitarist and vocalist Joe Keithley.
In approaching the completion of their new live DVD: To Hell N' Back, fans are able to participate in the production of a 90 minute, non-stop live action DVD that features 30 classic D.O.A. tunes. Filled with exciting, never before seen footage from the band, shows, and exclusive previews, fans can get the chance to receive rare memorabilia, a backstage pass to their Vancouver show, and many more when they make a pledge to their campaign.
With only a couple of days left to pledge, Keithley is thrilled to have fans be a part of the creation as their pledge opens the door to this first-ever experience. "I'm really excited about the new to Hell N' Back live DVD. It kicks your ass, which is exactly what D.O.A. tries to do every time we hit the stage. We put a lot of work into it and it shows!"
