LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Reno, NV's Spitting Image (self-described as "a punk band from a basement in the high desert on the west coast") will release the "Love On A Terror" b/w "We Begin" 7" as a co-release via their own imprint Negative Space Extension and Broke Hatrè (Creative Adult).
The 7", the follow-up to the band's 2012 "Valley Floor" EP and limited cassette release which came out on Negative Space Extension, is now streaming on Bandcamp at: https://goo.gl/2zsxKj.
The music video for Spitting Images "Love On A Terror" is premiering today on Brooklynvegan at https://goo.gl/C7QiJX. The clip was filmed & edited by Omar Pierce (1800cherrys.com) at The Holland Project art gallery in Reno, Nevada.
Eliciting comparisons to the Wipers, Moss Icon, and Christian Death, Spitting Image play music that is spacious, insistent and tuneful-- drawing on a long lineage of guitar-based DIY. Spitting Image have shared the stage with Ceremony, Iceage, Cult of Youth, Nu Sensae, Merchandise, and Grave Babies and have additional tour dates and a full length LP planned for 2014.
