Sydonia Gets A Kick From Reality And Releases A New Album "Reality Kicks"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Pie Records) Reality Kicks - the film clip for Sydonia's Single from the album of the same name sees its debut online today. A powerful, visceral song, the clip matches it for intensity and visual power.

The clip is the first cut from Sydonia's long awaited new album 'Reality Kicks' and is out Friday February 7th and is available now to media. Dana Roskvist, front man for the band, shot and edited the clip himself on location in Noosa, QLD.

The four band members Dana Roskvist, Sam Haycroft, Adam Murray and Sean Bailey are more than pleased with the results. "It's been a hard slog these few years, getting this record done and finding the right team around us to put it out, but now is the time. It's awesome to finally unveil it." Said Guitarist Sam Haycroft.

The band all drove the album creatively and were integral to the production of the record and the accompanying DVD. "The album is the culmination of a bunch of years of hard work, sweating the small stuff and always with the loyal fans and friends we have made over the years in mind. This record is something we are intensely proud of," stated Roskvist. "The DVD is our big thank you to our fans - there's some pretty unique and once-only footage in there and it's nice to share those unique experiences with everyone now."

The physical album will include a CD/DVD combo pack and the digital package will be available in all good online retailers for download and streaming. The DVD will be available online in iTunes as well.

Reality Kicks was recorded/engineered between Toyland Studios (with Adam Calaitzis) and Power Street Studio and Minona Studios by the band themselves. It was produced by Sydonia/Dana Roskvist.

Sydonia have toured with some of the world's greatest rock and metal acts including Korn, Dead Letter Circus and Mamma land were personally invited to tour throughout Australia with Lamb of God after lead singer, Randy Blythe, heard their debut LP 'Given To Destroyers' playing in a record store. The band was also personally invited to open the US tour for Stone Sour and the Australian tours for Slipknot and Machine Head.

One of Australia's hardest-working and prolific creative outputs in the country, Sydonia have produced eleven releases since 1998 including singles, EPs, an Album, a DVD and their latest DP (EP including a DVD) 'Waiting For Words That Don't Exist'. Their music has received airplay on triple j, Top Ten Request screenings on Channel V and radio play across the country and the world.

The band will tour the record nationally in May and June of this year. Reality Kicks is out worldwide Friday February 7th through MGM Distribution and video content online through Blue Pie Records.

ABOUT SYDONIA:
"Sydonia is a band that exemplifies the word 'diverse'. The best of pop sensibilities is tempered at times with brutal angst. 'No Woman's Land' is a song that should be playing on every radio station in every city on this planet!" - Randall Blythe - Lamb of God

"Seriously, if you haven't see Sydonia yet, then do so, and if you have
seen them before, then join with me in puzzling over why they are yet to
tour internationally with their own supports." - INPRESS MAGAZINE

"Sydonia, they're a really amazing band, and the lead singer's got a very unique voice. They're really heavy but incorporate so many different vibes that it's a little bit hard to categorize them musically. I think, too, that's something music's sort of lost." - Jim Root - Slipknot/Stone Soul
