Esteemed Nashville Based Songwriter, Jennifer Adan, Publishes Debut Children's Book
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ LaFamos Press) Longtime songwriter and author, Jennifer Adan releases her debut children's book, titled I Don't See Heaven. The book is a short story about a young girl named Isabella who learns, while on her first plane ride, that she can't see heaven. Jennifer Adan's writing talents and credits span the spectrum of music and literary genres, having written for artists such as Blake Shelton, New Medicine, and Holly Elle; as well as being a prolific writer of poems, short stories, and screenplays. To those who know Adan, writing a children's book should come as no surprise. She was previously a Montessori preschool teacher in San Mateo, California until transitioning to writing full time. The Simon & Schuster published book I Don't See Heaven is now available for order on Amazon.com and can be found in select Barnes & Noble bookstores nationwide.

I Don't See Heaven was written with the goal of simplifying the complex issue of explaining death to children and instilling little readers with invaluable moral values, while simultaneously holding their interest. The book tells the story of Isabella, a young girl who goes on her very first plane ride with her parents to visit with her grandmother. While on the plane, Isabella learns that she may not be able to physically visit her grandfather in Heaven, but is reassured that he is always with her, in her thoughts and in her heart. The book includes beautifully colored sketch illustrations and has a fun and thoroughly thoughtful storyline that young children are sure to enjoy. The heartwarming story effectively uses simple, yet poetic language, creating a short story that little tikes will learn from and love.

Jennifer Adan relocated to Nashville, TN, after winning a songwriting competition sponsored by Jeffrey Steele. She has since joined the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and West Coast Songwriters Association (WCS), learning to perfect her craft. She wrote a number one hit for CMA winner and "The Voice" judge, Blake Shelton titled, "She Wouldn't Be Gone." The song was released as the first single off Shelton's album Startin' Fires. The single debuted at number 52 on the Billboard: Hot Country Songs chart and hit #1 on the chart several weeks later. She has continued to prove herself to be not only a songwriter but also a writer in its truest sense; with her newest endeavor I Don't See Heaven.
