D.O.A.'s Joe Keithley Fractured Foot; Vancouver Show Still On
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Skylar Entertainment) Injuring himself after a recent performance in Houston, Texas on January 30, 2014, D.O.A. front man Joe Keithley is declaring that the show must go on. Like a true performer, his injured leg will not stop him from continuing on his next show.

After his performance at the Warehouse Live Studio, Keithley slipped off the wet stage and dislocated his ankle. Since then he has been on crutches and performed three straight shows in Houston with a cast.

"I Had an X ray on my right foot today, it's fractured. I skipped seeing a doctor in Houston, as there was no time. So I went out and found a cast and played the last three shows in Texas wearing that cast. I figured if Bobby Baun (Maple Leafs) could score the winning goal in a Stanley Cup final with a fractured leg, that was the least I could do" says Keithley.

With one day left until the big show at their hometown, D.O.A. is set to continue their Farewell Tour in Vancouver at the Rickshaw Theatre this Friday February 7, 2014.

WELCOME TO CHINATOWN:
During their stop in Vancouver, Sudden Death will host a Welcome to Chinatown live album release party on February 7, 2014 at The Rickshaw Theatre. Recorded from three nights at the Rickshaw, the live album brings a thrilling and cultural music experience.

"Welcome to Chinatown, is a return to D.O.A.'s roots. 'Cause that's the area, where all the excitement of punk rock started for us. We used to practice and live in Chinatown and our very first shows, at local community halls, warehouses and dive clubs were right in the area. So this double album feels like full circle/coming home for us. Plus most of our classic songs are on the album," says D.O.A lead guitarist and vocalist Joe Keithley.
