Relapse Announces 2014 SXSW Showcase

Upper Darby, PA. (Top40 Charts/ Relapse Records) Relapse Records is proud to announce their official 2014 SXSW Label Showcase. In partnership with Cvlt Nation, Relapse will be presenting some of their finest new acts at the Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, TX on Wednesday March 12th at 8 PM. The show will be headlined by Richmond, VA psychedelic doom band Windhand and will include direct support from Olympia, WA traditional heavy metallers Christian Mistress. The bill will be rounded out with Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing Norwegian death metallers Obliteration Denver, CO's misanthropic doom trio Primitive Man and NYC progressive death metal outfit Pyrrhon. Admission is free to SXSW badge holders and wristband wearers, and a limited number of spots will be open to general public at the door day-of.

Additionally, multiple Relapse bands will be in attendance at this year's SXSW including Ringworm, Indian, and Black Tusk. More details on their shows will be announced shortly.
