Lakeshore Records Presents Enemies Closer - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ CineMedia Promotions) Lakeshore Records will release the ENEMIES CLOSER - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally and through Amazon-On-Demand on February 25, 2014. The soundtrack features original music by Tony Morales (HATFIELDS & MCCOYS, THE BAG MAN).

"This movie is an action-packed thriller," said Morales. "[Director] Peter Hyams wanted a high octane score that would match."

Emmy-nominated Tony Morales began his career as a staff composer within the commercial music division of Hans Zimmer's Media Ventures in 1998. Since that time he has gone on to compose numerous scores for film and television including Gopher Broke, which received an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Short in 2005, Hide Away, an official selection of the 2011 SXSW Film Festival, Unguarded, an ESPN documentary which was nominated for two Sports Emmys, and Hatfields & McCoys (co-composed with John Debney), which earned Morales his first Emmy-nomination.

A guitar player since the age of six, music has always been a part of Morales' life. After an adolescence spent playing in a series of unfortunately named bands, he retired his Flying V and turned to the world of film music. He earned a degree in film scoring from the renowned Berklee College of Music and attended USC's Advanced Studies in Film Scoring program.

Working with some of the film industry's top composers, such as Harry Gregson-Williams, Brian Tyler and John Debney, Morales has contributed to the scores of Iron Man 3, Now You See Me, Unstoppable, The Town, and The Change-Up. Morales has also contributed music to several hit television series including Just Shoot Me, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, FX Network's The Riches, and Syfy's Warehouse 13. His video game credits include Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, which was nominated in the Best Original Instrumental category for the 2010 G.A.N.G. Awards.

Morales would team with Debney once again in 2012 as co-composer of the hit History Channel mini-series Hatfields & McCoys. The mini-series would draw a record 13.9 million viewers, and earn 16 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special.

Tony Morales' upcoming projects include In Your Eyes (written by Joss Whedon), Night Has Settled, which debuted at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 1st, and The Bag Man (starring Robert De Niro and John Cusack, co-composed with Edward Rogers). He composed the music for the Dreamworks Animation short Rocky and Bullwinkle, which will be released in 2014.

After a major shipment of drugs goes missing on the US-Canadian border, forest ranger and former Navy SEAL Henry is plunged into survival mode when the drug cartel forces him to help retrieve the downed package. Trapped in the wilderness with no communication to the outside world, Henry finds himself face to face with Clay, a man with a personal vendetta against Henry who has returned for retribution. Now, the two mortal enemies must make a choice: put aside their past and work together, or die alone at the hands of the drug runners, a ruthless gang who will stop at nothing to retrieve their lost cargo.

"The music for Enemies Closer is a mix of orchestral instrumentation laced with electronic textures and percussion," said Morales. "I created a handful of motifs to use throughout the film. The main and most used one was written for Xander, the film's villain played brilliantly by Jean-Claude Van Damme."

ENEMIES CLOSER stars Jean-Claude Van Damme, Tom Everett Scott, Linzey Cocker, Christopher Robbie, and Orlando Jones. After Dark Films presents ENEMIES CLOSER current in theaters and on VOD. The ENEMIES CLOSER - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be available digitally and via Amazon on Demand on February 25, 2014.
