Where in the world can you find such diverse acts as Queen, Skrillex, and Miley Cyrus
hanging together? Why, in PELUSSJE's long anticipated video for Carol Williams "Love Is You (PELUSSJE Remix)", out now on ULTRA Music, of course!
"..we were thinking about how to make this video, but we had NO ideas for weeks…so at a certain point we proposed this sock puppets idea as a joke...but our videomakers at THISGASTHING loved it! We ransacked Chinatown in Milan, bought TONS of socks and made everything DIY, at home! It was incredibly funny, and we loved the whole project as the videos we decided to honor are part of our musical background..." -PELUSSJE

PELUSSJE, a.k.a. James
Nayler & Chiara
Benelli, are a couple of italian electro producers and DJs born in 2004 through flaming walls of sound, burning screams and fiery stage divings. After a period of circuit bending, noise, and underground live based shows, they decided to bring back on the ring their deep love for mixer and turntables.
In 2008 their productions turned to a stronger, more complex and club-oriented sound, colored by massive basslines and the full flavor of their musical roots. Their love for Mexican Lucha Libre, it's theatrical violence and the acted madness broke through, and masks became a fundamental symbol of their live shows.
During the last 5 years PELUSSJE acquired a significant reputation worldwide, bringing their show to Europe, USA, South Africa, Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea and Brazil, sharing the stage with Skrillex, Crookers, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Cyberpunkers, Congorock, Boys Noize, SebastiAn, Lektroluv, The Subs, Bare Noize, Bart B More, Toxic Avenger, Shinichi Osawa, Vicarious Bliss, Cold Blank, Peaches, Dope D.O.D., Zomboy, & more.
Their eclectic music has been released on several important labels, including Universal, EMI Music, Freakz Me Out, OMGITM, Boxon Records, and Off Limits, receiving high praise from Skrillex, Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Congorock, and Joachim Garraud.
Pelussje have always been active remixers, gaining an international reputation thanks to an increasing number of bootlegs from their musical roots, such as "Take on Me" by A-HA, "Call Me
" by Blondie, "Smack My Bitch Up" by The Prodigy, "Wild Boys
" by Duran Duran, "Get Lucky
" by Daft Punk
and recently "I Was Made For Loving You
" By Kiss.
