New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Twin Berlin official website) This past week, Twin Berlin released their debut full-length record, Sleazebrain. The follow-up to their
Travis Barker-produced EP, There Goes My Virtue, Sleazebrain features a raw and belligerent collection of songs born out of anxiety and self doubt, and executed with a confident, sarcastic swagger.
"Last winter my band Twin Berlin went to Vermont to make a record in Tim's living room," explains vocalist/guitarist Matt Lopez. "Without outside intrusion/persuasion we were able to record every note, chord, and mistake exactly how we wanted, resulting in what I believe is 34 minutes and 6 seconds of raw, honest, human ability and imperfection."
Property of Zack premiered the album saying, "[Twin Berlin] subtly refined the underground feel to a perfect level."
Diffuser.FM debuted the first track from the album calling it "a mix of dirty and jangly guitars, plus mile wide vocal hooks."
Twin Berlin will be supporting Sleazebrain with a string of shows across the Northeast.
