Texas Farm Girl Country Music Song: New Release
Dallas, Texas (Top40 Charts/ Texas Farm Girl) Texas Farm Girl, the second children's book from award-winning author, Rebecca Crownover, now has a country music song to go with it by the same name.

Texas Farm Girl, the song, has been released and available on iTunes, Google Play, AmazonMP3, Spotify, Xbox Music, iHeartRadio, among a number of others. You can download the single on iTunes for $1.29.

Crownover is a real Texas farm girl and a partner in Lone Star Family Farms located in Sunray, Texas. The farm is a grain production farm and grows high-yield crops such as corn, wheat, cotton, seed milo and canola. "Farming is a passion of mine. Entertaining, educating, and inspiring others through my books and through music from my experiences on the farm is a true blessing," says Crownover.

Texas Farm Girl, the song, was written by Grammy award winner, Skidd Mills, and iheartradio/Clear Channel 'Get Discovered' winner, Billy Dawson (as seen on CBS Sports Network). Rebecca and Billy grew up together in the small farming community of Sunray, TX. They are childhood friends and now working together on music and children's books. "Texas Farm Girl, the song, backed with an incredible amount of talent, is an exciting addition to the country music industry that fans will love," says Crownover.

Crownover received multiple accolades for her first book, My Daddy Is In Heaven With Jesus, at the 2013 Christian Literary Awards. She won the Henri Award for Best Children's Book and The Reader's Choice Award in the Children's Book Category. My Daddy Is In Heaven With Jesus was also an award winning finalist in the 2013 USA Best Book Awards Children's Religious Category, sponsored by USA Book News.

Crownover was inspired to write My Daddy Is In Heaven With Jesus after her husband died as a result of an ATV accident on the fourth of July in 2009. While attempting to cope with her own grief, Rebecca was challenged by the questions her 2-1/2 year-old daughter, Acie, was asking such as where's Daddy, where's Heaven and is Daddy ever coming home? Searching for guidance, Rebecca attempted to find a book that could help Acie. When she was unable to find a book written at her daughter's level of understanding, she decided to write a children's book. The result is My Daddy Is In Heaven With Jesus, (Mascot Books--Hardcover: $14.95; eBook: $6.95) that has helped comfort a number of children's lives across the country.

Crownover launched her second book in two years, Texas Farm Girl (Mascot Books--Hardcover: $14.95; eBook: $6.95) in December 2013. Texas Farm Girl is a tribute to "PawPaw," her grandfather, who taught her his profession of farming. Its publication date is just one year after his passing. It is the first in its series and Crownover is expected to release two additional Texas Farm Girl children's books in 2014.

A rising country star, Billy Dawson is a multi-talented singer, entertainer, author and writer. He is currently in the studio working with Grammy award winning writer and producer, Skidd Mills, on a new album to be released in 2014. Songwriting heavyweight Rivers Rutherford, who penned hits such as When I Get Where I'm Going (Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton), Real Good Man (Tim McGraw), These Are Of My People (Rodney Atkins) and Stealing Cinderella (Chuck Wicks), is a longtime supporter and mentor for Dawson.

Dawson has shared the stage with artists including Lady Antebellum, One Republic, John Hiatt, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Skillet, Five For Fighting, Colt Ford, Charlie Louvin and Cross Canadian Ragweed. He was the winner of the 2010 "Get Discovered" (iHeart Radio/Clear Channel) National Competition and was featured live on the iconic Jerry Lewis MDA telethon in Las Vegas and on the airwaves for over four million viewers. He was included in iTunes/Tunecore Country 2010 album featuring Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Dawson is the author of You Never Know, the first book in a series of children's books focusing on bullying, racism and other societal issues involving children. He brings his book to life when he speaks at schools about the importance of respect and love in everyday life.

Skidd Mills is a songwriter/producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Skidd has won multiple Grammy Awards along with having multiple Grammy nominations. In 2010, Skidd won a BMI Pop Award for "most played song" for co-writing Saving Abel's "Addicted". Skidd also has multiple Dove nominations and has worked with artists such as Saving Abel, Sick Puppies, Third Day, Daughtry, Theory of a Deadman, Hinder, ZZ Top, BB King, just to name a few.
