Baltimore, MD (Top40 Charts/ Tragic Hero Records) Progressive rock band Megosh will be releasing their brand new album Body Works on April 1st through the label Revival Recordings, owned by Shawn Milke of the band Alesana. The group is excited to team up with AltPress to premiere (https://bit.ly/1fiXf0U) the title track from the album and to give fans a little insight on the song meaning and recording process.
"I would love to just sum up the meaning of the song by saying it's about promiscuous sex, however there's more to it than that!" says vocalist/guitarist Josh Grosscup. "We've all had someone from our past who strayed from the moral path and might have even dragged us down a little with them. In this case, the girl in this story takes advantage of a less promiscuous partner. The song showcases the hesitance, and guilt that follows."
Grosscup says the process of recording the album was "great!" He added "Megosh definitely broke in that fresh, new studio! We're recording in North Carolina courtesy of the honorable Revival Recordings! The studio is called 'Adelaide' and Neil Engle is the engineer putting it all together. Shawn and Shane of Alesana are also featured on the album and Shawn is producing all of Megosh's new material."

Baltimore's Megosh has been toiling behind the scenes for some time brewing up a catalog of high-energy intelligent rock. Their music is melodic with post-progressive elements and frequent forays into the territory of alternative metal, but they manage to maintain an overriding pop sensibility. Megosh somehow fuses these eclectic ingredients into a surprisingly cohesive stew, a sound that is clearly their own.
