New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Next month, American singer-songwriter Lana Del Ray will embark on a 22-date tour across the United States and Canada. The tour will launch on April 11th in Las
Vegas and will come to a close over a month later in Seattle. As a relatively new artist, this will be Del Rey's second tour.
While she is still new to the music industry,
Lana Del Rey is off to a great start. In 2013, she was nominated for two Grammy Awards including Best Vocal Pop Album and Best Song Written for Visual Media, which referred to her hit song "Young and Beautiful" off of The Great Gatsby soundtrack. She is most noted for her unique sound that references 1950s and 60s Americana music, while she describes herself as a "self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra."
She currently has three studio albums and is expected to release a fourth, Ultraviolence, this year. It has been rumored that the album will release on May 1st, which would be right in the middle of her springtime tour.
