Miami, Florida (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announces the release of the "Star Crossed Lover" music video by Tiah Blanks. The project, presented by Coast 2 Coast Video Distribution, is now available for viewing on YouTube. The video is directed by Bryan Withers.
Tiah Blanks is a singer songwriter from Erie, Pennsylvania. The daughter of a former preacher, Tiah first discovered her deep rooted passion for music at the age of 9 years old singing in the church choir. Tiah's mother was the leader of the choir and pushed Tiah to nurture her talent rehearsing until she was the lead performer for the choir's solos. Beyond her powerful vocal chords Tiah has a natural finesse with words combining her love for lyricism with her passion for singing through songwriting.
Tiah, determined to turn her hobby into a music career, moved from Pennsylvania to Miami to pursue her passion. Once in Miami Tiah met up with renowned producer Steve Nowa who commissioned Tiah to record hooks for local Rap and R&B artists. Steve, who was impressed with Tiah's soft voice and impressive vocal range, teamed up with the young singer to producer her first solo album, "_Of This Earth_". The combination of Tiah's ambient vocal melodies and catchy hooks with Steve's idiosyncratic beats creates a sound that challenges the preconceptions surrounding Electronic Dance Music. "Star Crossed Lover" is the first single off "_Of This Earth_" and a perfect example of the music's infectious danceability sure to make your eardrums smile.
The "Star Crossed Lover" music video provides visuals for the out of this world single. Watch as the sparkly eyed, crimson lipped, poetic-pop singer struts her stuff in a futuristic studio surrounded by lights, mixers, kick drums, keyboards, and so much more. The video features an appearance from the producer Steve Nowa as well as drummer Cameron Ferguson. Check out the video for yourself and keep a look out for Tiah's freshman album "_Of This Earth_" to be released independently on 40 Nights Records in 2014.
