Tommy Emmanuel Announces 2014 US Summer Tour
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Tommy Emmanuel) Two-time GRAMMY Nominee Tommy Emmanuel, whose five decade career has garnered hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, will once again be bringing his passionate and infectious live show to the United States in summer 2014. The tour kicks off on Jun 12 in St. Louis, MO at Sheldon Concert Hall and wraps up on Aug 16 in Philadelphiaat The Philadelphia Folk Festival.  

Supporting Tommy is Antsy McClain, front man of the Trailer Park Troubadours. McClain is a singer/songwriter and humorist who will be presenting an introductory dose of his solo show which is set to tour the same markets in the coming months.

Emmanuel is a national treasure in his mother country of Australia. He started as a child prodigy touring with his family band, and rose up through the ranks as a studio musician and with a series of successful Australian bands, including providing his guitar stylings on Air Supply's multi-platinum selling album, "Lost In Love." He has been voted Favorite Acoustic Guitarist in both Guitar Player Magazine and Acoustic Guitar Magazine's reader polls, and is a YouTube sensation. His videos have nearly 14,000,000 views and have led to sold out shows in new markets all over the US.

From Jul 28th to Aug 1st, 2014, Emmanuel will be hosting his 2nd-ever Tommy Emmanuel Guitar Camp USA. This all-inclusive 4 day/4 night workshop will take place at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY, where players of all ages and skill levels will learn directly from Tommy and other top players, including John Knowles, cgp, Jim Nichols, and Joe Robinson. Recently, Emmanuel self-released his highly-anticipated live CD/DVD combo, titled "Tommy Emmanuel cgp: Live and Solo in Pensacola, Florida." Recorded live in early 2013, this CD/DVD includes old and new favorites, exhibiting Tommy's amazing showmanship and musical talent as he performs before a packed house at the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio.

Tommy Emmanuel is an honorary Kentucky Colonel, a CGP (Certified Guitar Player), an Order of Australia Medalist (AM) and the holder of both an honorary Master's Degree (MA) and more recently an honorary Doctor of Arts (DR) from Charles Sturt University in Australia in recognition of his commitment to rural Australia and contributions to music education.
