The Black Keys To Perform On BBC Two's "Later... With Jools Holland," BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Black Keys arrived in Europe over the weekend, performing "Fever," the first single off their forthcoming album, Turn Blue, on Che Tempo Che Fa on Italy's Rai 3 Sunday night, which you can watch at rai.tv. Band mates Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have now made their way to London, where they will perform on BBC Two's Later … with Jools Holland tonight at 10 PM. Fans in the UK can tune in then to see the band perform "Fever" off the new album, due out May 12 on Nonesuch Records. Then tune in to BBC Two again this Friday at 11:05 PM for the full, one-hour episode of Later to see them perform the album's title track and more. For additional details, visit bbc.co.uk.

On Wednesday, fans around the world can hear The Black Keys perform songs from Turn Blue on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe show and chat with Lowe about the new album. Tune in to BBC Radio 1 at 7 PM GMT, streaming online at bbc.co.uk.

The Black Keys are featured on the cover of the June issue of Mojo magazine, out today and pictured at left; you can read a preview of the cover story at mojo4music.com.

Turn Blue is Album of the Month in the June issue of Uncut, which exclaims: "Turn Blue turns out to be The Black Keys' sneakiest, subtlest and most seductive album."

The band was also featured on the cover of The Guardian's Guide supplement over the weekend, in which they are the subject of a feature article available at theguardian.com. And in the Independent, Turn Blue was an early Album of the Week, earning a perfect five-star rating. "A post-modern blues-rock marvel which takes some of the core elements of rock 'n' roll and casts them in new shapes," says the Independent music critic Andy Gill of the album. "With Auerbach's falsetto croon floating over Carney's variously propulsive grooves, there's an ever-expanding diversity of appeal to Turn Blue that should win new fans and please the faithful." Read more at independent.co.uk.
The band performs a special concert at the Berlin Postbahnhof for Radio Eins and returns to Germany to kick off a tour of European summer festivals in June.
