Black Stone Cherry Has Announced A Major US Tour Schedule Celebrating Today's Release Of Their Eagerly Awaited New Album "Magic Mountain"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) Roadrunner recording group Black Stone Cherry has announced a major US tour schedule celebrating today's release of their eagerly awaited new album. "MAGIC MOUNTAIN" - which includes the current Rock Radio single, "Me and Mary Jane" - is available now in stores and at all leading digital retailers.

Hailed around the world as one of contemporary rock's most electrifying live acts, Black Stone Cherry is already on the road in support of "MAGIC MOUNTAIN," including co-headline shows alongside Seether and other like-minded artists scheduled through the month. A North American headline tour will then get underway beginning July 11th at Capone's in Johnson City, Tennessee (see attached itinerary). Accompanying Black Stone Cherry on select dates will be Kyng and Atlantic recording group We Are Human. In addition, Black Stone Cherry are slated to headline the Harddrive Live Tour in July and August with dates and details to be announced shortly. For complete details and ticket information, please see www.blackstonecherry.com/tour.

As if that weren't enough, Black Stone Cherry is set to blow it up at an array of upcoming festivals and fairs in the US and Europe. Among the highlights are Bangor, Maine's Rise Above Fest (May 10th), Columbus, Ohio's Rock On The Range (May 16th), Pryor, Oklahoma's Rocklahoma 2014 (May 23rd), The Bud Light River City Rockfest in San Antonio, Texas (May 24th), Rockford, Illinois' 104.9 The X's Wing Ding 2014 (May 25th), Oshkosh, Wisconsin's Rock USA (July 18th), Nelson, Illinois' Who Else Pig Roast 2014 (July 19th), Dubuque, Iowa's Dubuque County Fair (July 25th), the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, Missouri (August 8th), Three Forks, Montana's Rockin The Rivers (August 10th), and Glen Flora, Wisconsin's Northwoods Rock Rally (August 16th).

Produced by Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden), "MAGIC MOUNTAIN" has already begun drawing critical acclaim from a range of publications both here and abroad. "There's sonic voodoo all over 'MAGIC MOUNTAIN,'" noted Guitar World, adding, "(The album's) 13 songs…pair the group's signature blend of muscle and melody with six-string shades of Hendrix, Zeppelin and even early Metallica. Yet it retains the flavor of the southern rock and country music that Black Stone Cherry's members heard growing up in small-town Edmonton, Kentucky." The UK's Classic Rock praised "MAGIC MOUNTAIN" as "a ballsy, loud rock album with enough odd detail to keep everyone interested, balancing authenticity and ambition." "Raucous and honest," raved Revolver, "the album rocks with (the band's) trademark down-home stoner swagger…Black Stone Cherry continue to be today's torchbearers of southern rock."

Black Stone Cherry's fourth studio album, "MAGIC MOUNTAIN" sees the band continuing to master the distinctive hard rock sound that has earned them legions of fans around the world and global sales now in excess of 650,000. In the UK, Black Stone Cherry have proven a phenomenon, topping the Rock Albums chart with both 2008's "FOLKLORE AND SUPERSTITION" and 2011's "BETWEEN THE DEVIL & THE DEEP BLUE SEA" receiving silver sales certification from the BPI (British Phonographic Industry).

Here at home, Black Stone Cherry are certifiable rock icons thanks to relentless touring and a long string of hit singles, including the top 10 Mainstream Rock smash, "In My Blood." Furthermore, country duo Florida Georgia Line's version of the band's "Stay" (originally found on "BETWEEN THE DEVIL & THE DEEP BLUE SEA") was a #1 sensation, spending five consecutive weeks atop Billboard's "Hot Country Songs" chart on its way to RIAA platinum certification.

Black Stone Cherry has spent much of its life on the road, touring alongside the likes of Chickenfoot, Nickelback, Kid Rock, Def Leppard, Alter Bridge, Motörhead, and the one and only Lynryd Skynyrd. Furthermore, the band has made numerous US and European festival appearances, including a sensational headline slot at the UK's Download Festival.
