After Playing Y Not, Supporting The Sherlocks And Endorsed By Premiere League Winning Christian Fuchs, The Lids Return With 'Delectable'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Combine songs about teenage love affairs and riff heavy choruses and you'll get the majority of young bands these days. Add the energy and connection of two brothers, anthemic tunes and support from the likes of This Feeling, Hot Vox and Soundhub Studios and you'll get Rhys Butler, brother Liam Butler and brother from another mother Sam Deas - aka Leicestershire's three-piece indie rock band The Lids.

The Lids have been making all the right noises recently, being dubbed as ones to watch in Leicestershire, playing festivals Tramlines and Y Not Festival and recently announcing new single 'Delectable, due to drop April 20th.

Having gained recognition from BBC Introducing and Gigslutz, supported Superfood, High Tyde and The Sherlocks and played major festivals such as Tramlines and Y Not Festival, The Lids have built a solid fans base and reputation from raucous live shows.

Much like fellow Leicester band Kasabian, and other bands like Royal Blood and Arctic Monkey, The Lids are best known for their stage presences and unforgettable gigs. In support of their new single, the Leicester lads will be hitting the road, playing the likes of The Monarch, Sunflower Lounge and The Cookie, with dates listed below.

14th April - HotVox @ Aces and Eights, London
21st April - This Feeling @ The Cookie, Leicester
26th April - This Feeling @ The Monarch, London
28th April - Dublin Castle, Camden
25th May - Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
15th June - Maida Vale, Sheffield
20-22nd July - Tramlines Festival, Sheffield
11th Aug - Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
More dates to be confirmed.

The stylish three have recently been discovered by Leicester City's own Christian Fuchs. The professional footballer has collaborated with The Lids on his new clothing range #NoFuchsGiven, making it obvious as to why the three-piece are the forerunners of the new generation of bands in Leicester.
