After Recording Guitar Solo For Rod Stewart, Marcus Nand Is Back With Own Solo Album 'Time And Tide Wait For No Man'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Having played alongside the world's greatest musicians and recorded a guitar solo for Rod Stewart's latest album, Marcus Nand's experience as a professional musician is certainly unmistakable. The eponymous single release from the album, 'Time And Tide Wait For No Man', has been described as "a definite step ahead in Nand's eclectic music career" and the album as going "through different aspects of life, in which many listeners may easily find themselves into" by online music website Blue Bird Reviews.

While focusing more on the introspective and reflective aspects of life with his first single release, other songs on the album include catchy and flamenco influenced tracks such as 'Everything'.

With 'Time And Tide Wait For No Man', Nand is telling stories of life experiences that people can relate to. In his songs, Marcus is creating an atmosphere that allows the listeners to be transported into a lyrical picture. The themes of the album range from friendship to love and loss. Inspired by some of the most influential bands known to mankind, Marcus explains: "I kept on thinking about how diverse Queen or The Beatles were and not worrying about anything fitting in or not."

Nand's music is as varied as his heritage. The musician was born in Merseyside, grew up in Spain and has a Fiji-Indian father and English Mother really which has immensely contributed to shaping him as a person. His latest album is an all-embracing expression of his upbringing and open minded worldview: "Musically, it's the first time I've actually incorporated all of my musical influences including, Rock, Flamenco, Pop, Arabic and Indian influences so that was a big factor when I was producing it."

Marcus has established himself as a much respected artist having some of the world's most successful musicians wanting to collaborate with him. Session musicians such as Carmine Rojas (David Bowie, Rod Stewart) or Tal Bergman (Joe Bonamassa) are regularly performing with Nand on stage and rumour has it that Paul Young is still listening to his first album 'Ziroq' on his phone.

"Marcus knows how to write a song that feels truly rock and at the same time, truly worldly." -Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters)
"I think he is a great example of a dedicated musician carrying the torch of his genre well into the future."- Mike Inez (Alice In Chains)
