Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration Star-Studded Concert Event Concludes In Italy
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli's three-day concert event, Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration, concluded in Tuscany.
The final night was nothing short of spectacular, with Bocelli delivering one captivating performance after another with special guests Shania Twain, Brian May, Sofia Vergara, David Foster & Katharine McPhee, Matteo Bocelli, Amos Bocelli, Nadine Sierra, Lauren Daigle, Giorgia, Franco Vassallo, and Eros Ramazotti.

It follows two previous star-studded concerts featuring a host of major names, including Ed Sheeran, Russell Crowe, Will Smith, Johnny Depp, Lang Lang, Jon Batiste, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson, Elisa, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, and Virginia Bocelli, as well as classical superstars Placido Domingo, José Carreras, Aida Garifullina, and Mariam Battistelli, plus a surprise appearance from Kim & Khloé Kardashian. Taking part on all three nights were the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, conducted by Steven Mercurio, the Nuovo Coro Lirico Romano choir, young Italian actor Mattia Basciani, and dancers Angelica Gismondo and Francesco Costa, in performances choreographed by Nathan Clarke.

For three nights this week, the Teatro del Silenzio (Theater of Silence) in Bocelli's hometown of Lajatico was a place for celebration, marking the tenor's 30th anniversary in music. The event's creative director, two-time Olivier Award-nominee Francisco Negrin, turned the Tuscan hills into a visual spectacle, including a stunning aerial drone show, nods to the history of Italian fashion and cinema, and more.

The once-in-a-lifetime event was captured for a forthcoming concert film - Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration - produced by Mercury Studios, Maverick, Almud, Impact Productions, and CitySound & Events. It is directed by Grammy-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Sam Wrench, who recently directed Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour, the highest grossing concert film of all time, and will be released globally in theaters this fall by Fathom.

The closing night of the week-long event featured performances of Bocelli's new single "Da Stanotte in Poi (From This Moment On)" with Shania Twain (a reimagination of her No. 1 smash hit single that is included on Bocelli's forthcoming Duets album), "The Prayer" with David Foster on piano (Bocelli's spellbinding duet with Céline Dion is also featured on his upcoming album), "Can't Help Falling in Love" with Katharine McPhee and David Foster on piano, "You Say" with Lauren Daigle, "Fall on Me" with his crossover star son, Matteo Bocelli, on piano next to his father, and an enthralling performance of Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever" with Brian May on vocals and guitar. Sofia Vergara also joined Bocelli on-stage where she was serenaded to "Bésame Mucho."

Opening night featured performances of "Amazing Grace" with Jon Batiste, "Can't Help Falling In Love" with Sofia Carson, "Fall on Me" and "If I Knew" with Matteo Bocelli, and "Hallelujah" with his daughter Virginia Bocelli. The evening also included an appearance from Kim & Khloé Kardashian, who surprised the audience to celebrate the beloved musician.

The second night included an acoustic performance of "Perfect Symphony" with Ed Sheeran (which will also be featured on Bocelli's Duets album), a tribute to the late Jeff Beck on "En Aranjuez con tu amor" with Johnny Depp on guitar, a spoken word rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" by Will Smith, a performance of Leonard Cohen's "Take This Waltz" by Russell Crowe with Bocelli on piano, and a beautiful moment where four tenors - Bocelli, Placido Domingo, José Carreras and the late Luciano Pavarotti - shared a stage thanks to cutting-edge technology.

Bocelli's 30th anniversary celebration is set to continue with the release of his new album, Duets, out October 25th via Decca Records / Sugar Music. The 32-track collection includes many of Bocelli's most beloved collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Céline Dion, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, and Luciano Pavarotti, and more, as well as new superstar duets recorded especially for the album with Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, Gwen Stefani, Marc Anthony, Karol G, Matteo Bocelli, Hans Zimmer, and more.
