Brit-Indie Has A New Name In Sparky's Magic Piano And Their New Album "Never Twice The Same Colour"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie pop duo Sparky's Magic Piano are releasing their new album Never Twice the Same Colour September 9th, 2022. The release of the album marks the long-awaited return of the London-based artists after their acclaimed 2007 electro pop record Feel the Beat and Do it Anyway!. Put together with a bedroom studio spirit, Never Twice the Same Colour is a larger-than-life album with creative DIY production.
"We set out making Never Twice the Same Colour with a goal to make an ambitious rock record, wherever possible not confined by the limits of a home studio. For Someone from There I laid down around 30 different violin tracks in the drainpipe and curtains vocal booth to create the orchestra. I had Pet Sounds, Automatic for the People, Rumours in mind - lush orchestration and thick vocals."

The album's lead single Last Supper - release: 19/08/22 - is a quintessential Brit-indie-pop-rock track that just hasn't happened to have been heard yet! With a backing made of clean and fast-moving electric guitar (that would be at home with the Kooks or Razorlight), and soft ephemeral vocals (that would be at home at the pearly gates), Sparky's Magic Piano balances the playful indie spirit with a rock edge.

Never Twice the Same Colour was created entirely at the duo's London home between 2019 and 2022. Between work, life, and lockdown, Sparky's Magic Piano turned their surroundings into their very own Abbey Road (with admittedly more bedrooms, family, housework). The result is the 11-track LP, fully comprised of 3-minute upbeat, pop songs.
