Chihuahua, Mexico-Based Punk-Rock Band, Los Seis Pistos Tour The West Coast In Support Of English/Spanish Hybrid, Punk Will Never Die
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ In Music We Trust) Based in Chihuahua, México, Los Seis Pistos - Iván, Kenio, Tambo, Beto - blend punk, Latin, garage rock to create their unique sound that comes from the cultural development produced by globalization and the approaching of countries around the world, mainly in Mexico and the US.

Being at the center of these two countries, the guys have been influenced from an early age (and at the same time) by the traditional Latin music and good old rock and roll; from Elvis to Pedro Infante, these boys have been giving "serenatas" (serenades) to pretty "señoritas" since they were kids to playing their high-energy sound on the streets of Los Angeles.

Gearing up to tour the West Coast, the band has put together Punk Will Never Die, an eleven-track collection that showcases both their American punk songs and their Spanish ones. Their sound contains influences from all aspects of rock and roll, punk, ska, blues, and some times even jazz, driven by the blazing high-octane guitar sounds of Kenio, speed unique vocals of Ivan, hard melodic bass lines of Beto, all united by the big, bad-ass drumming of Tambo.

7/17/14 - The Caravan - San Jose, CA
7/18/14 - The Stork Club - Oakland, CA

In words of legendary music producer Kim Fowley, "As Los Seis Pistos' West Coast hard rock consultant, I have to say that Los Seis Pistos are the Latin Ramones for the 21st century rock marketplace. I have produced or written for such 20th century rock success stories as Kiss, Alice Cooper, Van Halen, Nirvana, Runaways, Steppenwolf, Blue Cheer, and Seeds. I even found time to publish music by Motley Crue and Blue Oyster Cult. Wearing my hat as rock & roll/hard-rock expert, I endorse Los Seis Pistos. These guys rock out and they do it in both Spanish and English - and they do it from a different cultural perspective, which gets a spicy flavor into rock and roll. I have heard the future of Latin rock music and that sound belongs to Los Seis Pistos."

In an era where you can walk into a McDonalds and buy a burrito, don't think that it will be too long for the music of Los Seis Pistos and the Latin Alternative movement to have an important place in the music scene in the States.

US PRESS:

"Los Seis Pistos, C'Mon Top NXNE Honour Roll, Chart Attack reviewers have named Los Seis Pistos as the most impressive band to play NXNE." - Chart Attack Magazine

"They play hard, and they have fun. Rumour has it they put on an electric live show. Well, that's a no brainer, if their energy can be captured in studios in Hollywood and New York on a 12cm disc of plastic, their live show must be explosive." - Scene And Heard Magazine

"Los Seis Pistos, of Chihuahua, Mexico, have been called the Latin Ramones or the Latin Sex Pistols, but they're not that boring or derivative. An old-school punk base melds with more recent inspiration, building on a solid rhythm section that shows potential for complexity." - NOW Magazine

"The angular, raw punk of Chihuahua's Los Seis Pistos followed with double-time beats, bilingual instructions on requesting fellatio, and a mosh pit rendering of 'Stairway to Heaven.'" - Austin Chronicle

"On Korima Punk, Los Seis Pistos create a new and fresh sound, successfully blending Latin elements with punk rock. They sing in English and Spanish equally well and songs this good need no translator. 'La Vida Facil' and 'Cosmetic' are two of the winners on this extremely deep disc." - Skope Magazine

"Their sound, their energy, their persona… magnetic and nearly hypnotic." - Ane Magazine

"The band members are feisty, cute, and small in stature, and they pack an enthusiastically noisy, yet non-threatening, bark. Featured at this year's CMW, Los Seis Pistos proved, both in their live show and in this release, that language doesn't really matter in punk rock." - Spill Magazine
