New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The members of Disordered Reality are delighted to announce their debut studio recording in October 2021. The new project of Simon Mark Bell (formally of After The Fall, Esquimax and Omen) and professional singer, video and audio producer David de Silva has been steadily recorded and rehearsing since July 2020 in preparation of live performance.

The band take you along a complex musical journey through philosophical, political and socially aware themes in a stunning live performance demonstrating the talents of award winning singer David de Silva on vocals.

Embracing a complex mixture of styles and influences, the members of Disordered Reality have drawn influence from artists within a wide sphere of heavy metal and rock music, embracing doom metal in addition to more traditional melodic influences stemming from a variety of mainstream, classical, rock and alternative sources.

Writing all material in standard tuning and drawing heavily on influences from other melodic spheres, Disordered Reality successfully combine a myriad of influences in to a cataclysmic wall of sound.

Since July 2020, and after several years in the musical wilderness and constantly pursing other non-musical aspirations, Simon Mark Bell and David de Silva have formed Disordered Reality. Based on demonstration recordings undertaken in previous sessions with 'Esquimax' and John 'totalbiscuit' Bain during his time in a professional covers band, Simon had several false starts with previous members who unfortunately left for a variety of reasons. Much of the lyric and vocal content was subsequently re-written and expanded upon by David de Silva to breath taking results.

After an extended stay of hospitalized illness and an aggressive and extensive promotional campaign to recruit further members, Simon utilised his existing industry contacts and internet advertising to secure the current line-up. Various members were sourced from various other locations in the East Midlands predominately in the county of Lincolnshire, United Kingdom.

Now after the recording of two previously released albums and two previous EP, Simon has finally released 'what-has-been-in-his-head' for many years. Having requested many favours from friends old and new, with the release of the 8 track album '20/21 visions' via internet download in October 2021, a musical and philosophical vision has now been finally accomplished after much anguish and self-determination.

A self-produced, digitally recorded and professionally mastered release combining all the musical elements of Simon's experiences who has previously been a self-employed session musician and voluntary music producer and engineer. The release also demonstrates the vast array of talent within the current line-up of the band in their quest to fulfil a musical and philosophical vision. Of notable contribution is the work of David de Silva delivering a breath taking vocal performance, excellent keyboards of Damien Kennedy and the outstanding bass talents of Ben Hammerton.

A series of press, radio, webzine and other media stream reviews and interviews have been secured in promotion of the release, combined with live performance at a series of head lining and charity events and will also appear in support of established artists.

Although undertaking a series of performances until mid 2022, Disordered Reality are already determined to enter the studio again in 2022 with a view to a professionally recorded album ready for record company distribution, radio listing, further live appearances and other promotional activities in 2022.

From early 2022, the band will be undertaking an extensive series of live appearances within the East Midlands (UK) as part of their aggressive promotional strategy to ultimately secure a suitable recording and distribution contact by mid 2023.
