Donica Knight Scores Bullseye With Chris Kyle American Sniper Shootout VIP Performance
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Alabama-based country rock singer/songwriter Donica Knight performed for 350+ VIP guests at the Chris Kyle American Sniper Shootout, held in Mason, Texas on December 5th, 2015. In attendance, were Taya Kyle (Chris Kyle's widow), country superstar, Zac Brown, NRA World Champion, Bruce Piatt, and many military heroes, among others. The event also featured performances from Easton Corbin, Asleep at the Wheel, and Scooter Brown Band. The highly successful event raised $1 million for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.

Donica Knight sang the National Anthem to kick off the shooting competition between Taya Kyle and Bruce Piatt. Ms. Kyle won the competition, using a Tracking Point advanced technology gun, while Mr. Piatt used a standard military sniper rifle. The event ended with Donica perfoming at the private VIP dinner and charity auction.

"Taya Kyle has this indescribable presence," said Donica Knight. "She is a woman, who was faced with tragedy, and chose to actively inspire others to make our world better. I have never seen a person with such high character, courage, honesty, wisdom and power of speech. It was a true honor to be invited to perform for the American Sniper Shootout and to be surrounded by such amazing people."

The aim of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation is to provide meaningful, interactive experiences to service members, first responders and their families, aimed at enriching their family relationships. For more information, visit https://www.chriskylefrogfoundation.org.
