New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The most original combination of raw 'hot buttered soul' vocals, funky guitars and keyboards since the soul music legends of the 70s has been released by the independent artist Niva the Soul Diva. Similar to Mary J. Blige and D'Angelo of the hiphop neo-soul movement of the nineties, Niva the Soul Diva brings new interpretations to the genre of Soul Music.

The title of her new track is called "let me be your radio".
The song is described as a happy upbeat song with a snap your fingers 'classic soul' vibe. The website 'soul jazz and funk' said that the song has a "hint of Bobby Womack". Niva the Soul Diva said about her influences "my influences for all of my music comes out of the bold soul sisters of the 70s, Chaka Khan, Linda Jones, and on this particular song Gwen McRae".

Born and raised in Houston Texas now living in New York City, Niva the Soul Diva brings in her usual musician sidekicks, with guitars played by her lead guitarist 'Johnny guitar Watson Junior' and funk jazz keyboardist Douglas "Douggie do" Glover. According to Niva "my music is real and organic, I use real musicians, no auto-tune or digital computer editing and we're all proud of that.

The track "Let may be your radio" is available at all major download locations.
