Goldbringer Returns With New Single "Wormwood"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Wormwood is the latest track from the one-man electro-pop explorer Ben Honebone, AKA Goldbringer. Ben serves up a new slice of ambient and cinematic electronica wrapped around a catchy melody with his trademark soaring vocals. With a quirky, dream-like sound and rock sensibilities, Wormwood marks a new beginning for Ben, who says, "It's the first of many singles to come."

Goldbringer has been on a hiatus since releasing Soundtracks at the beginning of 2020, and Ben Honebone tells us why. "The pandemic scuppered my plans to play gigs supporting the album, so I had to find something else to focus on. I've been making music over the last few years, but something always seemed to get in the way of it leaving the studio. Wormwood represents a new approach to writing and recording, and I think you can hear the difference when you listen to the song. I've enlisted the services of a new producer, Andrew, on mixing duties, and he gets what I'm trying to create, so the process has been really relaxed and straightforward. I'll be focusing on releasing one track at a time from here on out, and hopefully, that means you'll be hearing more from me."

"I don't believe in explaining what a song is about, as that takes agency away from the listener.
