Guitarist Denis Taaffe Releases 200th Album

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bloomington, IN based solo electric Guitarist Denis Taaffe releases 200th album Modern rock guitar Vol.200 'Pulse'.
Denis uses electric guitar, guitar loops done on the fly, bass emulations on guitar and drum machines to create an instrumental musical style that he calls "New Age Rock".
All of his compositions are recorded live with no overdubs an improvised on the spot.Denis states "well, I always really liked new age music but to be frank it is kind of slow and boring after a while.New Age for the most part lacks some rhythmic elements to keep the listener interested. Its fine to have the listener floating in space,but there must be some movement or direction So I combined some rock elements to keep the music lively,so calling it New Age rock is quite appropriate".
Denis's 200th album demonstrates this new musical style and is radically different than previous albums he has created in the past."well, this new style for me is a natural progression from my previous albums though more musically mature.Very much geared towards film soundtracks.In fact groups such as German synth bands like Tangerine Dream who created many film soundtracks influenced me greatly". As for Denis's future projects, he plans to continue releasing more albums.
