HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Top40 Charts/ A&M/ Octone) - The Undead have risen! Modern rock renegades Hollywood Undead have clawed from the Los Angeles underground and achieved gold status for their A&M/Octone debut album, Swan Songs. With more than 500,000 albums shipped overall and 20,000 units scanned in a single week, the album reached No 22 on Billboard's Top 200 chart, as well as achieving the influential magazine's No 5 Current Alternative Album, No 3 Top Hard Music Album, No 8 Current Rock Album and No 9 Current Digital Albums. Meanwhile, the smash singles 'Young' and 'Undead' have paved the way for the new single, 'Everywhere I Go.'

Concertgoers are still raving about Hollywood Undead's heavily buzzed-about performance at the KROQ Weenie Roast on May 16, just before the band headed back to Europe on a triumphant return tour that included four sold-out dates in London. And on their home turf, the group has been enthusiastically covered by USA Today, New York Magazine, Los Angeles Times and more.

On Swan Songs, Hollywood Undead has concocted an explosive cocktail of hip-hop, rock and metal, forging an alternative style with sharp and sarcastic raps that slash the jugular of mainstream pop culture-and over half a million fans have bought in to the concoction. Donning individual masks, Hollywood Undead possesses a dark aesthetic that's connected to their hometown's depravity. Each member has their own twisted personality, including Charlie Scene (the Lyrical Genius), J-Dog (the Sweet Talker), Da Kurlzz (the Loud Mouth), Tha Producer (the Singer), Funny Man (the African Baritone), and Johnny 3 Tears (the Server).

The band recorded Swan Song's fourteen tracks with production by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park), Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails), and Deuce. Hollywood Undead's success is supported by their massive online presence at MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other major social networks. In fact, the band was labeled as 'MySpace's largest unsigned artist' before A&M/Octone signed the group. The group's live debut in August 2008 was at a performance slot they earned at the Virgin Mobile Festival (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_Mobile_Festival), after winning more than a quarter of a million votes in the company's 'Book the Band' contest.

Hollywood Undead is confirmed to play KROQ's Epicenter 09 in Pomona, CA on August 22, alongside Tool, Linkin Park and Alice in Chains. The band will launch the next leg of sold-out US and UK / European touring this fall.
