Kamikaze Girls (UK) Release Debut Full-length "Seafoam" Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Leeds, UK indie rock duo Kamikaze Girls released their debut full-length, Seafoam, today via Wiretap Records (U.S.) and Big Scary Monsters (UK/RoW).

Here's what others are saying about "Seafoam"

"They reimagine and modernise the powerful message of their 90s influences. It's a difficult listen, but one that carries a genuine unpolished beauty…simply brilliant" - Goldflakepaint

"A soft punk masterclass" - Kerrang! Magazine

"A righteous riot of socio-political scream-alongs" - The Quietus

"Brimming with political despondency, it's the perfect musical representation of youth revolt" - Ticketmaster

"A more developed, strengthened sound that proves they're far from done with the world…Kamikaze Girls continue to be what's needed" - UPSET

"Birthed out of tragedy, recovery, solidarity, compassion, companionship and the long struggle of clawing yourself, inch by inch, towards making your dreams a reality, and it's a triumph" - Punktastic

"An emotional rollercoaster…my album of the year…it's art" - Independent Music News

"The UK DIY punk scene is probably as strong as it's ever been, but with this effort from Kamikaze Girls, the bar has just been raised that bit higher" - The Punk Archive

"Delivers everything you could want from a record" - Thinking Lyrically [10/10]

"A real treat for those with patience…nothing short of remarkable" - Ramzine [5/5]

"Sometimes power, energy and emotion are all that matter, and boy do the Kamikazes have a healthy dose of that…excellent" - Already Heard [4.5/5]

"A band who will put everything on the line" - Vulture Hound [4.5/5]

"Bigger, more ambitious and more accomplished…distils modern life into 40 minutes - relevant and resonating" - Alt Dialogue [8.5/10]

"An excellent debut" - Punk News [4/5]

"An incredibly cogent coalescence of rock…Its spectacularly passionate delivery is certain to seduce a sizable assemblage of alt-rock enthusiasts" - Pure M Zine [4/5]

"A statement of intent…the bright future the band seek is undoubtedly within their grasp" - The Colour of Vinyl

"Growing into a wonderful band with their hearts on their sleeves" - Punk Online

'Seafoam' is the follow-up to Kamikaze Girls' acclaimed debut EP, 'SAD.' Exploring wider musical influences from shoegaze, fuzz-pop and the heavier side of the genre-spectrum they call home, 'Seafoam' is a record that feels like a weight being lifted and a focused, sharpened quill being shifted to new targets.

Kamikaze Girls are set to play a series of festivals in Europe this summer, including 2000 Trees and Truck Festival, and are confirmed to play FEST 16 in FL this October.
The duo is currently out on a UK co-headline tour with Nervus.
