Maggie Rose Announces Spring Tour In Support Of Double EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Spring tour includes SXSW, New York, D.C. + Direct Support for Randy Houser
Nashville's most "astute" (New York Times) artist Maggie Rose announces a spring tour in support of her double EP set -- 'The Variety Show - Vol.1' and 'The Variety Show - Vol.2' -- with shows slated at SXSW's Historic Scoot Inn, New York's Webster Studio, Philadelphia's World Cafe and Washington, D.C's 9:30 Club, with D.C.-native The Morrison Brothers as support.

Hailed by The Wall Street Journal "Speakeasy" as "determined yet sweetly serene," Rose's latest single "Broken" showcases how her continuously evolving music makes her one of the torchbearers of the New Nashville sound. With this genre-defying blend of titles, Rose has created a collection of music "without staying in the confines of what is considered 'radio friendly,' without reservations and without any apologies."

Ranging from "effervescent" (The Washington Post) pop-rock tracks to more composed, roots-leaning country numbers, Rose's latest tour celebrates what The Washington Post hails as "less an act of reinvention than liberation."

"I really wanted to drive home the variety-show element of these releases," says Maggie. "For people who know me, it is a way to also introduce them to some sides of my musicianship that I haven't showcased before. For people who don't know me, this will be a cool introduction to show my versatility."

Building on her multifaceted flair as both an artist and creator, Rose adds The Morrison Brothers -- an act she's producing with Dallas Davidson/Play It Again Publishing -- as support, returning to their home market (D.C.). With additional Summer/Fall shows to come, a complete list of Maggie's tour dates is available below and at iammaggierose.com.
