Michael Chiklis To Release Debut Album 'Influence' On September 16, 2016
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Michael Chiklis reinvents himself once again with the release of his first solo album Influence. Best known as an award-winning television and film actor, Chiklis now steps into a new spotlight to showcase his talents as a rock singer and songwriter with a record whose prominent hooks and overdriven energy recall rock's golden age. The album's first single "In Front of Your Eyes� is currently available to stream and features Steve Lukather on guitar.

Influence will be released on September 16th and is currently available for pre-order. Written and produced by Chiklis at his own Extravaganza Music Studio, Influence is an amalgam of his most loved musical inspirations past and present. The album features standout performances from Andres Forero (Hamilton) and Steve Lukather (Toto), as well as Scott Healy, Richie �La Bamba� Rosenberg, and Jerry Vivino from Conan's band.

Chiklis can currently be seen on the hit series Gotham as Nathaniel Barnes, Captain of the Gotham City Police Department. Influence arrives just in time for Gotham's third season, which premieres September 19th.

Known for his iconic portrayal of Detective Vic Mackey in the groundbreaking series The Shield, Chiklis earned numerous accolades for his performance, including the 2003 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series � Drama, the 2002 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and the 2002 Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Drama. In addition to starring on The Shield, he also assumed the role of producer and director for many of the show�s episodes. He also recently starred alongside Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, and Sarah Paulson in Ryan Murphy�s award winning anthology, �American Horror Story: Freak Show.�

A notable actor on the big screen, Chiklis starred in the films Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer as Ben Grimm, aka Marvel Comics� popular �The Thing.� Additional feature credits include Eagle Eye, Rise, The Tax Man, Last Request, and the controversial Wired, in which he played John Belushi, a role he auditioned for days after his college graduation. He also starred in the inspirational drama When the Game Stands Tall, opposite Jim Caviezel; in the action feature Parker, opposite Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez, directed by Taylor Hackford; and in Pawn, a crime thriller produced under his Extravaganza Films banner, with Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta and Nikki Reed.
