Multi-talented Performer Amy Weber Scores A Massive UK Dance Hit - And Billboard Breakout Song
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Dauman Music/Republic Digital) Once voted as one of FHM's sexiest women in the world, multi-talented, multi-media powerhouse (singer, model, actress, film and television producer) Amy Weber is now steaming up the dance floors with her breakthrough club hit "Let It Rain" which made the extraordinary leap from #20 to #6 on the UK Music Week Commercial Pop Chart.

This week, the track—penned by Weber with Jeremy Greene--was selected as a Billboard Breakout Song, debuting at #4.

The sensual and romantic video for "Let It Rain" was directed by Dale Resteghini, aka Rage, who has done videos for a wide swatch of superstars, including Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Flo Rida, Fall Out Boy and Nicki Minaj.

The iTunes version of "Let It Rain" includes a number of explosive versions by the top dance re-mix wizards in the business—including The Riddler (Pink, Dido, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey), Perry Twins (Jennifer Lopez) and Dave Matthias (Rihanna).

Others on the case include Brian Cid aka Cid D Kid (Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Beyonce, Adele) and Dan Matthews from Klubjumpers (Mariah Carey, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears).

"Let It Rain" is one of the biggest singles ever for Dauman Music/Republic Digital. Jason Dauman, President of Dauman Music, says, "Amy shows what can be done by simply singing and writing like you mean it. To have an artist break through to #6 is a notable triumph for a deserving talent."

Renowned for her time as a WWE Diva for World Wrestling Entertainment under the SmackDown! brand, Weber has played roles in numerous TV shows including the ABC soap "Port Charles," "CSI: Las Vegas," "Son of the Beach," and "The Young & The Restless."

Current projects include serving as executive producer and host of the unscripted, hidden camera TV series "Good Samaritans," the feature film "Crossroad" which she produced and stars in; and an appearance in the film "PlayDate."

"I like surprising people," Weber says. "Most people think that you can only be good at one thing, but I think that a lot of people that have artistic bones in their bodies can usually succeed in many artistic avenues, whether that be singing, writing, even painting. I think listeners are responding to 'Let It Rain' because it touches on what a lot of people go through today in relationships. There is so much being thrown at us and when you are in a strong enough relationship, it can weather any storm. I just love being in the recording studio and creating great music. I love collaborating with artists and putting together music that can lift you up and make you feel like dancing even when you are having a horrible day. In music, every word has an emotion behind it - not unlike acting. But sometimes with acting, you are listening and taking it all in. With music, every breath has tremendous emotion behind it."
