New Release From Austin's Joe King Carrasco & Patricia Vonne
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Nobody but nobody enjoys the stage more than Joe King Carrasco and Patricia Vonne. These two artists have been laying it down for years straddling the U.S. and Mexico borders in all sorts of watering holes along the way. Their pairing as a duet is a natural indeed and so it comes as no big surprise that Joe would team with Patricia, a great Anglo/Mexican artist in her own right, and they would leave the studio with a super-hot new single and I do mean super-hot. These two performers let it all out including some really cool Lobo (wolf) howls right up front and when they end a verse their vocal teaming is crisp, clear, and cool to the max. Add to that the producers use of controlled echo/reverb at these moments in time and the experience definitely brings a smile to your face. "Lil' Lobo" delivers lyrics that are so cool that your listeners and readers will want to hawk their valuables to buy this new single. Man, when something rocks it rocks. The song is reminiscent of the playful rock sounds of the late 60s and 70s and yet it carries a refreshingly new feel to it as well. The steady beat carried by the drums and the bass add a layer to the familiarity while the lyrics paint the picture of someone that has changed and now doesn't wear their wedding ring. It's a tongue in cheek look at a common occurrence in the American lifestyle - the heartache of separation. Only Joe could present this romantic tragedy with such a youthful oh wow and oh well look at the same time. The song works. You get the sad message of course but you receive it with both oh wow and oh well points of view wrapped together inside one song. This is Joe at his best, check it out, if I am lying, I'm dying. Take a listen - your audiences and readers will love it… It's really cool!
